Frequently Asked Questions

Can I have multiple subscriptions running on different schedules? Absolutely! This makes it easy to schedule your pet food or treats for weekly or fortnightly, while your flea treatment subscription might only need to be renewed on a 3-monthly basis. You can make changes to all your subscriptions in your account.

Do I get the sale price? Yes, of course! If you have an item on subscription and that item is on sale during the period for which your subscription renews, then you will only pay the discounted price!

Can I swap the product(s) I have on subscription? Yes, you sure can! The only thing to note is that when we give you your 10th subscription order free (or 6th with flea, tick & worm treatments), it only applies to products that have been a part of your subscription order for orders 1-9 (1-5 for flea treatments). If for example, you want the same product, at the same price, but in a different flavour (e.g - treats), we will treat it as if it is the same product so you will still get your 10th order free. Please email info@petgoods.co.nz if you have a specific request for this - We will do our best to accommodate subscription order changes and get your free* Pet Goods to your Good Pets!

Do I need to make an account for a subscription? Yes, this is required so that you can pause or cancel your subscription, add or remove products, and keep your details up to date.

What if a product is not available on subscription? We focus our Pet Goods subscriptions to products that your furry, fishy and feathery friends need on a regular basis, such as food or flea treatments. However, please get in touch with us if you want a specific product on subscription that is not currently. We are happy to accommodate this where possible.

Where do I go to change or pause my subscription or change my details? Simply click on the person icon in the top right of the website. Login to your account. Once in your account home, click the "edit" button next to the subscription that you wish to make changes to. From here you can remove your products, pause your subscription, cancel your subscription and edit your details.

When can I make changes to my subscription? We will send you an email 3 days before your subscription is due to renew. Please make any changes by 11:59pm the night before the subscription is set to renew to ensure it is ready for that day. 

Can I add products to an existing subscription? Yes, absolutely! You will see this is an option when purchasing the product where you can select "Add to existing subscription..."

Can I add a non-subscription product and have it sent with my subscription? Yes, simply select it as a "one off purchase" and in your delivery notes write, "send with next subscription" or "send with subscription on date DD/MM/YYYY." If the addition of an extra product with your subscription takes your order value to over $89 then we will refund your shipping costs amount as well.

Will I receive an update when my subscription order has been sent? Absolutely! You will receive an email from us. 

If my order is due to be shipped on a public holiday or a weekend, will it still be shipped? Your order will be shipped the next working day. During busy periods or long weekends we may email your earlier than 3 days prior to your subscription renewal to organise getting your Pet Goods Shipped before the weekend or public holiday. Our priority is getting Pet Goods to your Pets!

What if I want to start buying a product on subscription, but it is not currently in stock? If this is the case then please get in touch with us at info@petgoods.co.nz and we can give you an update on when it will be back in stock.

*10th subscription order is free only for the same product(s) that have been purchased on subscription for orders 1-9. Every 6th subscription order for all flea, tick & worm treatments are free only for the same product(s) that have been purchased on subscription for orders 1-5. If other non-flea, tick & worm products are purchased on the same subscription, they will be provided free on the 10th order, not the 6th.

All subscription orders are subject to stock availability. It is highly unusual that we are unable to meet subscription orders, however if it does happen we will offer you similar, alternative products. Our priority is getting the best Pet Goods to your Good Pets and offering you the very best in customer service!
